Experimental and Numerical Study of Pressure Intensity in Detachable Joints of D Series Pumps

چکیده

The object of study is a single-stage double-suction axially split volute casing centrifugal pump.
 Background. In the design process pumps, problems associated with ensuring tightness axial joint pump being under effect mechanical and temperature loads, are solved. During tightness, numerical calculation methods used to estimate pressure intensity on contacting surfaces. A detachable external load satisfies criterions if sealing surfaces higher than values specific prescribed by regulations. However, inability experimentally determine has so far prevented assess accuracy results obtained methods.
 Objective. order verify mathematical models, an experiment was carried out using special Prescale film that registers magnitude contact specimen model flange fragment. Based experimental results, analysis distribution conducted.
 Methods. To conduct experiment, there developed method for determining according proposed scheme fragment.
 Results. comparative solving problem finite-element models fragment zone in discharge chamber area showed good coincidence results. Analysis also agreement.
 Conclusions. Therefore, joints have been confirmed.
